My background started 1999 with education from The Art Institute of Phoenix with an Associates in Computer Animation. Through the cross-training of The Art Institute, I learned not only computer animation but motion graphics and graphic design. After graduating in 2001, I would end up changing my career into graphic design but still retaining the knowledge of motion graphics. Over the years I continued to hone my skills in graphic design, producing freelance projects for a wide range of local business. Several years later I went for a semester in College of the Desert where I learned HTML and CSS. All three of these skills were and still are vital to the experience and knowledge I have.
In 2010, I got my first brake in motion graphics and graphic design at the famous Morongo Casino Resort & Spa. From there I learned how to develop a vast array of marketing products, from banners to backlit posters, from tshirts to lapel pins, and also digital animations to powerpoint presentations. I gained considerable skills from this experience that I now use for freelance projects.
In 2016, after 5 years of working with Morongo Casino, I decided to move on to other opportunities to expand my skillset. I decided to move to chicago and see what big city life would be and what areas I would be challenged in the design front. Needless to say, it was a definite challenge, but a welcomed one at that. I continued to get freelance work in both graphic design and web design which helped me stay connected to the industry.
Late in 2016, I decided to return to school to persue web interactive design. I enrolled in Rassmusen Online College to get an Associates in Web Interactive design. I wanted this to complement the already skills I had, plus to expand the transferable skills I would gain. I am still currently enrolled with Rasmussen Online College and I am confident to graduate in 2018.
In the meantime, please feel free to look at projects I have completed for clients and feel free to contact me for any work.
